Autumn Equinox Boxes- Forest Floor

A few of you were wondering if I could send out a letter or do a blog post about these seasonal boxes I put together. So here I am!

This year I have really enjoyed putting these boxes together, and every season I look forward to it. I have a different theme for every box, and it always includes an art print photograph and yarn (both by me!), as well as beautiful items from other makers.

I always liked the idea of focusing the boxes around the changing seasons- the Solstices and Equinoxes- as it can be a simple gesture of noticing how nature and the weather is changing around us, and maybe how we are changing too with the seasons.

So, the theme of this box is “Forest Floor”- think earthy, warm colours with a cool touch. Imagine walking in a forest on the Autumn Equinox- what would you find? What type of colours might you see?

Here are the particulars- this box will include:

- A naturally dyed mini skein set of Natural Sock (6 x 20g mini’s)

- A naturally dyed full skein of Natural Sock (100g)

- A Laura Boyd Ceramics Mug (medium size- approx 7-8 cm in width- perfect for a cup of tea!)

- An A5 art print made me me. Taken on an analogue medium format camera and digitally printed.

- Northern Irish made soap by ABRON-AH

Boxes will be dispatched on or around late August
