February Shop Update // 23rd Feb, 8:00pm GMT
It’s almost the end of winter- I can see the season starting to change. Snowdrops and crocuses are in bloom, the tree peony is coming to life and we have started turning over the greenhouse to grow tomatoes again. I can feel warmth and hope starting to return to both the garden and the body!
This month’s shop update contains the last of the Hearth DK for the Winter- it will return again at the end of August. There are lots of sweater quantities, which would be perfect for the Lastlong sweater by Ailbiona McLaughlin which has been released today. Here is a little bit about it:
A play on words that speaks to the enduring mythologies of fishermen’s garments, lastlong means cargo ship in Irish Gaelic. Whether you find yourself battling the elements at sea, or wading through puddles closer to home, this sculptural take on the fisherman’s rib is a cozy, wearable classic. Ssample shown in Woolly Mammoth Fibre Co. Hearth DK, colourway Seaweed.
The pattern is available on Ravelry.
