It’s shop update time again! Tonight I will have a lot of Natural Sock 4ply coming to the shop- in full skeins, sock sets and mini skeins. I will also have some seconds of Spotted Dutch DK and Ceramic Progress Keepers by Buchlyvie Pottery.

Natural Sock 4ply

This month I had fun with some new and some seasonal colours. I have been doing some nettle dyeing (Spring nettles are wonderful for dyeing), and they give the most amazing sage green. Every year they surprise and delight me with the colour they give. This year I let the nettles grow in the garden, and then picked them as I need them.

Other things

I will have a very limited amount of Buchlyvie Pottery Ceramic Progress Keepers in tonight’s update- they are so lovely and totally my colours! (And yes, I finished my quilt!).

I’ll also have a small amount of seconds- these are test skeins that were spun at Olann Mills in Co. Cavan that I wasn’t 100% happy with as they were slightly overspun during the production process. So they are going on the update tonight at 50% off the normal price. They are DK weight approximately, and there will be two colour batches.

So that’s pretty much all for this update. In the next few weeks I hope to start a series on here about my no-nylon sock experiments and experiences- the idea got a great reaction on my Instagram Stories so I decided to go ahead and put some thoughts together.

Here’s a Rufus photo of Rufus looking cute in my Penguono.
