It’s that time of the month again- shop update preview! A rather large shop update this time, with lots of beautiful yarn for you to peruse. We’ve got the Causeway Yarn coming back to the shop for I think the second or third time! Also coming is Southdown Aran weight, Natural Sock 4ply (full skeins, mini skeins and sock sets), BFL/ Masham 4ply and BFL/ Gotland DK.

Limited Edition Causeway Yarn is coming back!

The Causeway yarn is approximately 75% Teeswater 25% Oxford Down, and it is sourced less than five miles from my house here in Northern Ireland. It’s a woollen spun yarn, spun in Cornwall by the Natural Fibre Company, and naturally dyed by me of course! It comes in at approximately 340m per 100g making it a 4ply- fingering weight yarn.

The flock is cared for by a Dad and his son who are interested in rare sheep breeds.

I knitted a lot of my Penguono by Stephen West in my Causeway Yarn, along with a few other limited edition yarns and a strand of Whistlebare’s Yeavering Bell 4ply.

So that’s pretty much all for this update. There’s a few more wee things- a couple of colours of BFL/ Gotland DK and a very minimal number of Tailor’s Rib Hat Kits.
