Maternity Leave Information

Just wanted to come on here and set out how things will be working for my maternity leave.

For anybody who doesn’t have Instagram, or isn’t on my newsletter, you may not have seen that I am taking some time off to spend with Baby Robinson who arrived in October, earlier than expected.

So here’s how it will work:

- There won’t be any more shop updates until at least Feb 2022.

- Any stock in the shop will remain there, and any orders placed for in stock yarn will ship once a week on a Monday.

- E-mail’s will be checked once a week on a Monday morning.

- I’m only going to be on Instagram sporadically (or maybe not at all, because going on Instagram feels like work to me!) as I want to take a break from making/ consuming content and from my phone in general. I’m going into full digital minimalism mode regarding Instagram for a while to soak up every wee minute I have. Besides, you can’t be changing a nappy and going on Instagram at the same time. That could get messy!! Anything yarn or order related please e-mail me rather than DM as I probably won’t (read definitely won’t) read it until Feb.

- I may or may not make a podcast. I’d like to but it seems a bit impossible right now. Never say never but also don’t count on it! If I ever gather up the where-with-all I might. Or I might knit instead :)

- Last but not least, THANK YOU all for understanding that I need to take this time off. I’ll never get it back again and I need to give Baby R and my health my full attention. Thanks as well to everyone who encouraged me to do this. Sure it’ll give you time to knit through your WMFC stash :)
